NEW YORK (AP) “Bachelor” star and 27-year-old Ariana Grande said she likes to watch the show and thinks she will win the Bachelor franchise.
In an interview with The Associated Press published Wednesday, Grande said her “favorite thing about the show is the fans.”
Her comments come after a report last week that Grande had a relationship with an executive who was also a co-producer on “The Bachelor” franchise.
She had a romantic relationship with co-star Justin Thomas.
On the season premiere of “Bachelorette” in November, Grande was photographed sitting on the couch with the executive who helped her land the job.
She did not appear on camera during the season finale and was not photographed with her co-stars at the premiere.
The executive who she met at the show’s premiere was also the executive behind “Basketball Wives,” a reality television show that starred former “Bros” star Michelle Duggar.
The executive told PEOPLE that he was in love with Grande, but he said he didn’t think she would win the franchise.
Grande responded to that report with an Instagram post.
“When I’m in a relationship, you can always ask to be a part of something else, but you can’t do that if you can help it,” she wrote.
“The Bachelor in Paradise” is set to return to ABC on Sunday, Oct. 6.
